What plants are in your garden ? I was thinking the other morning in the botanical gardens a banana tree would would be most evocative in a Singapore garden. Some 30 minutes later, I learned from a passing group of vocal school kids it is a Banana Plant.
At this point, it's more a backyard than a garden. That said, the Cristiani's, who lived here seem to have taken care to make sure something is always blooming.
ReplyDeleteLaurie has taken advantage of the garden plot to plant tomatoes, basil, snowpeas and peppers. She also dug up some of the lawn to plant squash -- which is doing great.
I always thought they were banana trees, too.
