 This photo is of a piece of a quilt hand-sewn by MeMe (Marian Ariail). Auntie Lynn sent it to me a couple of years ago, before the fire that consumed her house and everything in it-- but none of the people or plants. Isn't it a treasure?

Yesterday, my housemate Annis returned to Iran.  My other housemate, Laurie is vacationing in the Sierras, which leaves me and the little black cat Stella to enjoy the house, and the quilt, alone.

Ariel visited last weekend, and it was pleasure to host her.  She was instrumental in helping me move into the Pink Behreness, and we are always happy when she stops by.

Rumor has it our windows may get cleaned by another sister soon!

I got to visit Heather over the Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays --- meaning that I've seen her more than the rest of the Behreness Blogsters.  This time, I was really struck by the beauty of where she lives.  I'll post a few photos here.
